I’ve long admired the quirky volumes and colors of this facade along the railroad line under the 40th Street Bridge. They are tearing it down. By the time I took this image most of the factory behind this wall had been removed. Some developer is building a housing complex there. It’s another small sliver of the old Pittsburgh that is vanishing amidst a boom in the local economy.
